Hello!
My name is Elys and I'm so glad to be here with you all!
I am revising my About page because a lot has changed.
Like many, I picked up sewing during the lock downs. While it took months to get a sewing machine, I watched sewing tutorials and read sewing books to prep me to take sewing on by the horns. By the time I got my Brother sewing machine, I was ready to hit the ground running. In Spring of 2024, I acquired a Singer Quantum Stylist machine which has leveled up my sewing.
During my self-tutorial, I discovered that I especially liked making aprons. Since then, I have moved on making clothing and other items, that I sell at Farmers Markets or by special request.
I will also share with you other aspects of my life, which you can also see on my Instagram page, from food to wine to our garden.
I live in Massachusetts, with my partner and Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Lily. I work full time and sew at night, on the weekends, during holidays--any time that I can. I look forward to connecting with you here on my site or on my Instagram page below.
